Hi, I’m Anne-Marijke (AMG) — The Endometriosis Nutritionist

I help women and those assigned female at birth with Endometriosis reduce symptoms and, for those who want to conceive, improve fertility — using evidence-based nutrition.

Why You’re Here

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve said at least one of these to yourself:

  • “I’m tired of being in pain all the time.”
  • “I miss so many of life’s events because I’m too unwell to leave my bed or home.”
  • “I’m confused about all the conflicting advice about what I should and shouldn’t eat.”
  • “I can’t imagine living like this until menopause.”
  • “I find it hard to believe the only options are medication or surgery.”

If any (or all) of these sound familiar — you’re in the right place.

My Mission

I’m on a mission to make sure every woman with Endometriosis knows the powerful role nutrition plays in their symptoms, so you can make informed choices about your health and take back control of your life.

Who I Am

  • I’m a qualified Nutritionist specialising in Endometriosis and fertility.

  • I’m also a behavioural psychologist, which means I don’t just tell you what to eat — I help you make changes that stick.

  • I’ve written a book: Eat Your Way to Less Pain: Reduce Endometriosis Symptoms One Meal at a Time.

Nutrition isn’t just about recipes or cooking tips. It’s about understanding how food drives inflammation and symptoms — and how the right changes can give you relief that medication and surgery alone often cannot.

Why Nutrition Works

Endometriosis isn’t simply a hormonal disease, as many people assume. Its progression and symptoms are driven by chronic inflammation, often linked to imbalances in the digestive and immune systems.

That’s why nutrition is such a powerful tool — because the right food choices can:

  • Heal and support the digestive system.
  • Regulate and calm the immune system.
  • Reduce the inflammation that fuels Endometriosis symptoms.

For women who want to conceive, this matters even more. Chronic inflammation doesn’t just worsen Endometriosis symptoms — it also:

  • Reduces egg quality.
  • Increases the risk of implantation failure.
  • Contributes to early pregnancy loss.

By improving nutrition, we can calm inflammation, restore balance, and create a healthier environment for both daily life and fertility.

My clients often notice changes like:

  • Less bloating, fatigue, and brain fog.
  • Calmer digestion — fewer flare-ups of constipation, diarrhoea, or nausea.
  • A reduction in pain (often by around 50% within a few months).
  • More energy, regular cycles, and better chances of conceiving.

A Few Things About Me

  • I’m a proud single mum to my daughter Malou, who inspires me every day.
  • I’m originally from the Netherlands but came to Australia in 1995 — and never left.
  • I built my own tiny house on wheels, where I now live.
  • I love growing vegetables (though I’ll admit I’m better at nutrition science than gardening!).
